Model Alan Cumming
Description
My first quick & dirty try with Alan. Not a very good likeness, I know. But I hadn't touched my pencils in a year and a half (and another 7 years before that).
After approval by someone whose opinion matters in this context, I'm moving it out of Scraps "as-is".
[This was done one night during the worst time in my life i.e. while my mother was dying, and i could never touch the doodle again.]
I managed to awkwardly show it to the man during NTS Macbeth in Glasgow, back in 2012...

Sorry to say, Mum died the day I posted this, and Dad ten months later. I can't bring myself to resume working on this (yet) and I haven't found the time anyway. I might start portraits of my parents instead... someday.
